Lament- to feel or express sorrow or regret; to mourn
In Psalms, there are many passages where we are able to see one of the most dedicated biblical figures struggle with his faith. In Psalms 13, David cries out to God in desperation in his time of struggling. How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?.. It’s interesting though because at the end he says: But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me.
I found that a lot of times we have all these unanswered and empty questions that we want answered. I found that i just let these questions just sit in my mind and just grow on me. Until the other day, when my pastor had us write our own laments the way David had. Once I got all my thoughts down I remembered that.. God is amazing. He’s been amazing to me and He’s given me so much. And I KNOW that. I can SEE Him in my life.. blessing me. “He has been good to me”. So, just like David, I will sing praises to my God.
God has answers for all our questions.. only time will answer them.. Although there are so many questions without answers sometimes.. God’s promises will always remain. Remember.. He will never leave nor forsake you. He loves you. :) God bless!

Ask God and he will give. Ask him for courage. He give your courage. Ask him for love. He will show you love. Ask him for strength. He will hold you up. He will provide. Trust in him.

God. Who is he? Well, God is sovereign. We should praise him.
In the beginning God created he heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1
God is salvation. We should thank him.
The Lord is my strength and my defense he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him. Exodus 15:2
He is holy. We should respect him.
You are to be holy to me because I, the Lord, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be my own. Leviticus 20:26
God is wraith. We should fear him.
Now the people complained about their hardships in the hearing of the Lord, and when he heard them his anger was aroused. Then fire from the Lord burned among them and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp. Numbers 11:1
And God is love. We should love him.
7 The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. 8 But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Deuteronomy 7:7-8
This is who our Lord is, the one that gave us his son, and is so merciful and graceful. We shall praise and glorify his name for the rest of eternity! Can i get an amen?

New year. New things. Everyone has a new years resolution. I always do too! But like half the time , well actually i rarely accomplish them. Usually, its getting a straight A’s or like being super good and nice to my parents. But… naww its doesn’t happen. So sad. But this year i think it would be super different. My goal of this year, is to continue to grow in God and place all of my trust in him. I want to give him my all. In 2012, God open my eyes. He showed me how to love others, trust him, and give him my all.This year, I want to be able to spread his word and his love to others for he has not created us to be timid, but strong.
7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 8 So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God.

Hey guys! I know i haven’t been posting in awhile. As of now, I think my priorities are really messed up. I been struggling with what is important. But I hope this next year, I would be able to dedicate my life to God and just be able to show his love through me everyday. I pray that this generation would be renewed in God’s glory and his knowledge and His love would be flowing through everyone. So! i start posting alot more, taking baby steps to refocus! I hope you guys had an amazing 2012 and 2013 would be a great year for you all!

This isn’t the clearest picture ever sadly. I took it with my phone when I was hiking at Catalina Island! I just thought it was really neat seeing how one tree kind of grew into another tree.
I dont know why but the more I looked at it this one analogy kept popping out at me. We’re kind of like that tree that fell and God’s kinda like that tree that caught us. Hahahah right? maybe it’s just me XD But it made me smile knowing that sometimes when I try to grow on my own, I’ll fail, but God will be there to catch me so that I can grow with Him the way He wants me to grow.

Oh my i have sooo much to blog about today. I have realized how blessed we are by the simplest things in our lives. I am so amazed in how God works. It just so unique. First of all, God’s love is so amazing. Truly breathtaking. I know how often it is mentioned how his son died on the cross for us. But think about it deeply, how amazing is that. He lets his one and only son, die, for us. He was tortured , humiliated and hung just for us. For the things we have done. For the things we have not done. For the things we about to do. He died up on the cross for our sins. For our wrongs. For our mistakes. That all of it would be forgiven, and we wouldn’t be condemned to hell, but given eternal life with Jesus after all we have done. And yet he gives us more. He gives us his unconditional love. He gives us family. He gives us the people in our lives that had made a huge impact changing us forever. He has given us the house we live, the food we eat, the people we interact with, the computer you use, being able to even know him. We are blessed. Blessed with some many things. God, our Holy Father, has given us so much. Praise his holiness.
You wanna know something interesting? Of course you do. I’ll tell you. haha a lot of times I find myself thinking “I think I finally understand God”. haha. well that statement can be true AND false in a sense. You see. My sunday school teacher gave us a really accurate analogy of how we understand God. His love, grace, mercy, power, etc. is like an ocean. Endless and plentiful. We can scoop out some water and understand whats in it and whats happening in that little scoop of water but, we’ll never be able to understand everything thats happening in the ocean. This odd analogy really hit home for me. It was humbling and enlightening all at the same time just knowing that i DONT know everything and i never will:) Just some food for thought

Haha I took this Picture with the panaroma thingy on my iphone XD This was up at Payson during a church retreat with the worship team. The sun just reminds me of God’s presence. His warmth almost? :p tis pretty awesome and the view was just surreal XD
In Psalms 66, it says “all the Earth bows down to you” Thinking about that, literally everything on this Earth was made to praise God. The birds that sing. One member of the worship team noted that they were created with two purposes: to praise God and remind us of how wonderful our God is. Wouldn’t it be cool if this really happened? If you could see every living thing on Earth including us bowing down before God? It starts within each of us ;) hehe this inspired the following:

I am so bad at taking picture for these post T^T haha but I just love posting things. Just things on my mind :D I am really blessed just with all I have. God is great and he is truly amazing. He has given me so much. Shelter, friends, and FOOD! SO MUCH FOOD! but the point is that God has really given us so much and we are truly blessed. We are so unworthy yet we are so blessed by him. So thank the lord for everything and glorify his name! Can I get a amen?
